I spent the first 15 years of my life in London yet have called Australia home for over twenty years. I live with my husband and children in Perth and feel very fortunate to have incredible support from them. I guess i never planned on being a Photographer of People. But i believe what was meant to be will be. Call it Destiny or whatever the Art of Photography found me and would not let up until it became an Intrinsic part of who i am today. And so NECTARINE was born. The last 10 or so years have been the most rewarding part of my life, not only did i meet my soul mate, i also began this road of documenting the love and commitment of other couples, and what an honour it is.

I tend to feel sentimental at weddings, I regularly shed a tear ( well usually at the vowels ! ) and will quite often sneak home with a piece of Cake. With Weddings I’m a lover of tradition just as much as i like to embrace the unconventional.  The photographic legacy of print is a wonderful thing. I can picture your Grandchildren avidly looking over your Wedding Album when you are old and grey. ” My my Gran, you were BEAUTIFUL !! “ I believe in Dogs in Bow-ties. Mismatched Bridesmaids and DIY styling. I believe in the Owl and the Pussycat, Shakespeare and that Crazy Uncle whose speech will surely be Hilarious. I believe that sometimes you do need 2 dresses, and 6 different cakes at the reception. I believe Wedding dresses, like personalities come in all shapes and colours. I believe in dancing Barefoot in your Wedding dress.

I believe everybody, regardless of their preferences should have the right to have their love recognised.

Lastly, but most importantly, I believe in NO CHEESE. except, on a cheese board of course, and that is ALWAYS warmly welcomed.
